Like a child getting everything she thinks she wants; wanting more.
Like the orchid starving for its food, feeling quite unique.
Like watching the train pull away, an empty heart waving.
if you don’t know, I’m not going to tell you – she thinks.
she only thinks about herself. she sometimes finds confusion between
loneliness and selfishness.
silent as a stone, the asking won’t come.
she looks down finding boot prints in the snow dusting.
I like the ending, finding foot prints in the snow dusting ~ Wishing you Happy New Year ~
Cheers ~

confusion indeed between loneliness and selfishness.. and like björn says the orchid metaphor works well.. love the close with the snow and boot prints…for me there’s a new start, a new way out of what confuses and binds her… wishing you a happy new year as well..
