A tricky thing when there’s yearning to write/say something/express and there’s just,
this.
I sit/practice to continue getting big enough to hold it all.
And “it” keeps growing. Bearing witness is boundaryless. You may not take your edges with you.
Not on this journey.
There is no end.
Madness/destruction/violence/the earth shakes.
This is the true secret of impermanence. There is no grasping or attaching allowed.
No.
Listening to a dharma talk where Natalie Goldberg shared her teachers*** 3 pithy guideposts:
- continue under all circumstances
- don’t be tossed away
- make positive effort for the good
alright then
onward
and, as Mary Oliver asks, “What will you do with your one and precious life?”
peace
