Like the Hummingbird

Flitting about. Fighting for water. Or, perhaps they’re playing? Maybe what looks like aggression is simply the birds way of exercising their energy.

Non-stop. Movement. Dynamic.

Did you know hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backwards? They don’t have a sense of smell?

They weigh less than a nickel. They’ll fly up to your face to investigate. “They recognize, associate, and expect from a homeowner when trained to be fed at a feeder.” (hummingbird bliss.com)

Their wings beat at 80 times per second

The hummingbird represents the ancient symbol of joy and happiness. So, be reminded of the joy and happiness that are here. NOW. All around me. You. She reminds us to persevere, remain adaptable, and accept change as it arrives.

Slowing down morning
hummingbird shows the way
Now, fly backwards.
